Making your mark – creative drawing
$420 – Wednesday, 12 February – 28 May, 6.30-9.30pm, 13 sessions – closed
By exploring an exciting range of drawing approaches, mediums and subjects through a series of projects, we will develop your mark making skills and powers of observation. Traditional and non-traditional approaches to drawing will be studied using a variety of materials and techniques such as charcoal, paint, and collage.
Life! Drawing! Action!
$320 – Monday, 10 February – 17 March, 6-9pm, 6 sessions – closed
This life-drawing group will look at a diverse range of art images and styles, through a series of dynamically-themed sets and props based on famous contemporary photos, films and classical art. Our studies will involve avant-garde as well as orthodox methods for making art.
Pastels in art

Pastels are a fantastic drawing medium which have been used for centuries as a colourful alternative to charcoal. They can help you understand and use colour in your own art. Starting with pastel techniques, the couse will then follow a series of exercises that use classic art themes.
